10 tips to help improve your health and fitness in 2019

11th January 2019

Every year without a doubt, the most common New Year’s resolution is to diet or to eat healthier, closely followed by exercising more and losing weight.

This comes as no surprise as we ALL over-indulge during the festive period!

We thought we would share some health and fitness tips that we can all try to embrace this January.

  1. Start your day right
Along with a healthy breakfast on a morning, a shot of apple cider vinegar can be great for aiding weight loss, lowering the risk of heart disease and lowering blood sugar levels. This one is available from Holland & Barrett.

  1. Drink more water
Many of us are guilty of not drinking the recommended 2 litres of water a day. With this 1 litre bottle from Home Bargains, you can easily keep track of your daily water intake.

  1. Plan your meals
Preparing meals in advance can be a chore but we have made it easy for you here at Salford Shopping Centre! Kettlebell Kitchen is a healthy, clean fast food chain that offers meal preparation services to make clean eating delicious and nutritious. Head into store to find out more.

  1. Try #Veganuary
Veganism is on the rise, even Beyoncé and Jay-Z are challenging their fans to try the plant-based diet. Trending this month is #Veganuary, a charity inspiring people to try vegan for January and throughout the rest of the year.
