A cracking day of Christmas carols is coming to Salford Shopping Centre

Customers in Salford are in for a treat this Christmas, as singers of all ages will be coming together to perform festive favourites in aid of charity at Salford Shopping Centre.

Between Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20 December, the centre will welcome Saint Phillips Chapel Street, Larkhill Community Primary School and Pendleton Community Choir to perform Christmas carols, bringing all the joy of the festive season to the centre.

The first to kickstart the three-day event will be Saint Phillips, and shoppers will be treated to songs from the group from Tuesday 18th December at 4pm. The fun continues on Wednesday, as 50 young children from Larkhill Community Primary School who will be singing their hearts out from 2pm before returning the following day at 10.30am.

To round out three brilliant days of seasonal singing, Pendleton Community Choir will be entertaining those in search of the perfect present, with performances from 1pm on Thursday. All of the money collected by the three choirs will go to the chosen charity of their choice.

Salford Shopping Centre Manager, Nick Pitt, said: “We’ve had a fantastic festive period already and we are really looking forward to carrying on with the Yuletide activities by bringing the sounds of Christmas to Salford Shopping Centre. I’m delighted that we’ll have to Saint Phillips, Larkhill Community Primary School and Pendleton Community Choir in the centre, and hope the community enjoy a few days of carollers.”
