‘Dinosaur Roars coming to Salford’

Families in Salford are in for an ‘egg-stra’ special treat, when a free, fun and ‘egg-citing’ Easter event with a prehistoric twist comes to Salford Shopping Centre!

For one day only on Friday 19th April from 11am – 4pm, animatronic baby dinosaurs will be coming to the shopping centre, where visitors will be able to interact and engage with these incredible lifelike Jurassic creatures.

With animatronic features that includes blinking eyes, baby roars, mouth and head movements, children will believe they are witnessing the real thing.

Specially trained Dinosaur Rangers will be on hand to answer children’s questions and provide fascinating fun facts about the baby dinosaurs.

Shoppers will also be able to take photos inside a giant dinosaur egg and participate in a free Easter treasure hunt around the centre.

Salford Shopping Centre Manager, Nick Pitt said “We are really looking forward to welcoming families to Salford Shopping Centre this Easter bank holiday Friday, to witness and partake in something very different and ‘eggstra-ordinary’. We really hope families enjoy the free activities available”.

The baby dinosaurs will be making twenty-minute appearances at 11:30am, 12:30pm, 1:30pm and 2:30pm on Friday 19th April at Salford Shopping Centre in the area near to Wilko and Peacocks. The treasure hunt and giant dinosaur egg selfie activities will take place from 11am to 4pm.
