Clean eating Kettlebell Kitchen comes to Salford

20th August 2018

Forget processed, chemical filled, toxic foods. Think nutritious, protein packed food, cooked fresh on site, fast and casual! Kettlebell Kitchen is on a mission to redefine fast food as we know it, proving that fast food doesn’t need to be so unhealthy and healthy food doesn’t need to be so boring and bland.

Following the successful launch of the first restaurant in March 2016, founder Carley Jones is thrilled to be opening her fourth stand-alone restaurant at the busy Salford Shopping Centre.
Frustrated by the lack of convenient healthy food, Carley couldn’t understand why a health fast food takeaway and restaurant didn’t exist.

Carley said, “I’d find myself spending hours cooking cool/clean dishes from scratch most nights but by the time I’d done this, I’d spent at least £15 per meal on ingredients and wouldn’t be eating until 9-10pm.”

“I could never have imagined the response that the restaurants received and that two years on, I’d be opening the fourth restaurant here in Salford. It’s a great location here for us right next to Pure Gym and we’ve been really pleased with the welcome that we’ve received.”

“With Costa Coffee a huge success, we knew the area would also welcome a new concept with fresh and healthy food. Salford is really changing for the better, we’re so pleased we made the decision to move into the area.”

From Kettlebell favourites like the KettleBox and the Katsu Curry, to the brand-new Vegan/Vegetarian menu section, barista coffee’s and freshly made health and protein shakes, Kettlebell Kitchen is the perfect place to grab some nutritious, protein packed food while you are on the go, with delivery options also coming soon with JUST EAT.

The store is gym themed, with big booth seating holding 6-8 people and total seating inside and outside for over 60 people. With free customer Wi-Fi, plug sockets on every table and 10% student discount, it’s the perfect place to catch up on work.

Kettlebell Kitchen caters for all diets and requirements, whether you’re a meat lover, veggie, vegan, keto – they provide macro/nutritional information for all dishes making even the strictest of diets – easier to follow when eating out.

“Eating healthy doesn’t need to mean boring chicken/rice/broccoli or salads, eating healthy should mean watching and counting chemicals in your food rather than calories!” states Carley. “We offer food for anyone that wants to eat healthy and fresh food, we appeal to everyone not just your gym goers, even dogs are allowed so feel free to bring in your pooch to try some organic dog biscuits at our dog bar!”

Salford Shopping Centre Manager, Nick Pitt said “We are delighted to welcome Kettlebell Kitchen to Salford Shopping Centre. It is a great addition to our existing food and health and fitness offering at the centre and shows our commitment to bringing exciting new operators to Salford.”
