‘Lego-tastic’ half term fun at Salford Shopping Centre

10th June 2019

Hundreds of youngsters in Salford enjoyed a day full of Lego building fun and had the opportunity to see Lego brick men characters at Salford Shopping Centre!

For one day only, families experienced half term fun where they were able to get creative using their favourite colourful blocks and bricks with free activities including an imagination station for children of all ages to build to their heart’s content.

Shoppers were also able to take photos with Lego brick men characters and participate in a Lego-themed treasure hunt, as they searched for letters hidden in nine store windows around the centre in return for a free treat.

Alice Baker, mum of three from Salford said; “The kids had an amazing day, especially because they all love the Lego movie. Seeing the Lego brick men characters was a great experience for them.”

Salford Shopping Centre Manager, Nick Pitt said; “We find it really important to offer a series of free activity throughout the year, for everyone to enjoy. It was great to see families having fun and building the Lego blocks together, and we are now planning ahead and looking forward to our next events, one of which is ‘Salford Spooktacular’ taking place on Thursday 24 October.”
