17th October 2017

Families in Salford will be treated to a fun-packed Halloween this year, with the local shopping centre’s array of spooky activity.

On Tuesday 24th Sunday 29th October, between 11am-4pm daily, the retail centre will be inviting local youngsters in to take part in wicked lucky dips, lantern making, a fancy dress parade and more.

Terrible Tuesday (24th October) – Freaky Friday (27th October)

The centre’s monstrous money collectors will be taking donations throughout the week for local charities.

Spooky Saturday (28th October)

The scary Saturday will include complimentary Halloween face painting, as well as live performances from The Studio Dance Academy.

From 4pm, children of all ages will be invited to join the fancy dress parade. A member of the local council will be making a special appearance on the day to judge the best creative costume. The lucky prize-winner will receive a £50.00 voucher to spend in Salford Shopping Centre for their efforts.

Customers will also be able to enter a free lucky dip from 11am throughout the weekend, with the opportunity to win a selection of goodies while stocks last, from chocolate treats to Halloween themed toys.

 Sinister Sunday (29th October)

For Sunday’s visitors, the centre will be running workshops between 11am-2.30pm on how to make your own Halloween masks and lanterns, as well as your own squishy squashy play doh.

Centre Manager, Sabri Marsaoui, said: “Everyone here is excited to invite the local community in for some Halloween fun. It’s fantastic that we’re able to offer activities and workshops that are both educational and entertaining, at an exciting time of year for kids.

“We look forward to getting stuck in and can’t wait to welcome our customers in to the centre.”
