Salford Survivor Project first fundraiser at Salford Shopping Centre

Salford Shopping Centre is delighted to announce that its charity of the year, Salford Survivor Project will host its first fundraiser at the centre on Saturday 24th August between 10am and 4pm.

Salford Survivor Project is a volunteer run charity to help and support anyone who has been affected by domestic abuse, or abuse within the family. The charity aims to relieve the physical and mental distress of women and men who have been subject to domestic abuse, either at present or in the past.

As this year’s charity of the year, Salford Survivor Project will aim to host a plethora of fundraising events at the centre and will aim to raise awareness of those affected by domestic and family abuse.

Hannah Gregory, Project Manager at Salford Survivor Project, said: “We are so excited to host our first fundraiser at Salford Shopping Centre. We look forward to raising awareness of our charity and providing support to those affected as much as we can”.

Salford Shopping Centre Manager Nick Pitt said: “We are thrilled to be working with Salford Survivor Project and look forward to their first fundraising event at the centre. I’m very confident we will be hugely effective in generating much-needed funds for this very deserving charity.”
